Everyone Loves a Good Origin Story.
Here's Mine.

She Reveals It.
Wonder Woman. Oprah before the network. Sara Blakely cutting the feet off her pantyhose and accidentally building a billion-dollar empire. These stories make us believe that anything is possible — and here is the thing, it absolutely is.
My story is still being written. But if you are new around here, pull up a chair. This one is good.
Before I became a brand photographer, I got my bachelor's degree in elementary education. Noble, right? Inspiring, even. And then — in a plot twist nobody saw coming, least of all me — I ended up working for a medical device company.
Elementary education. Medical devices. Photography. Totally linear. Totally makes sense.
But the moment I picked up an SLR camera for the first time, something shifted. My heart just... knew. The way you know when you have found the right pair of jeans, or stumbled onto the exact coffee shop that feels like it was built for you. That was photography for me. Immediate. Undeniable. Mine.
That was sixteen years ago.
Since then every opportunity, every client, every session has taught me something new about myself and about this work. (Isn't it wild how we keep discovering new layers of ourselves the further we go? Highly recommend it.)

Somewhere along the way my love for photography collided with something deeper — a genuine passion for helping people be seen. Not just photographed. Actually, truly, finally seen. And that collision led me here — working exclusively with business owners to develop their visual story and build brands that actually look like the brilliant humans behind them.
Here is the part I do not talk about enough though.
I get it. The awkwardness. The "I have no idea what to do with my hands." The scroll-past-your-own-photos-immediately feeling. The "I will post when I feel more ready" spiral that somehow lasts three years.
Even now — after sixteen years behind the lens — I still hesitate before I post a photo or video of myself. Still. Me. The brand photographer. So if you feel that way, you are in very good company.
But here is what I also know from the other side of the camera: every single time I pushed through that hesitation and showed my face — it made the biggest positive impact on my business. Every time. Without fail.
My clients tell me the same thing. High quality, intentional images have increased their engagement, their inquiries, and their sales. Not because the photos were perfect. Because they were real. Because when you finally show up as yourself — fully, visibly, unapologetically — people feel it. They trust it. They reach out because of it.

That is when it clicked for me. A photo is never just a photo. It is a bridge for connection. A story behind the image. A statement from the heart. It is the thing that turns a stranger into a follower, a follower into a client, and a client into someone who sends everyone they know straight to you.
Getting to be part of that — getting to sit with you in your dreams, your goals, your vision, and then help you bring it to life visually — is genuinely one of the greatest honors of my life. Humbling does not even begin to cover it.

So. That is my origin story. Still unfolding. Still surprising me.
